While in Tampa on business, I made it to St. Petersburg to see the Salvadore Dali Museum, which I must say was WONDERFUL! What a great collection. Photography, of course, was not allowed, but I did snap a few pictures of the tour guide.

Tara Ward (tara-noelle) > She's got a shoe on her head because as Dali said (I'm paraphrasing), surrealism is placing ordinary objects in a strange context. Dali sketched his wife Gala wearing a shoe-hat like this one, which was made by the same hat-artist who created the works on the wall of the gift shop.
